The Balvenie 12 Year Old DoubleWood is a Speyside single malt that pioneered cask finishing. It matures first in traditional American oak whisky casks, then moves into European oak sherry casks, which add depth and a gentle, fruity richness.

Tasting Notes: Sweet fruit, honey and sherry on the nose; smooth nutty sweetness, cinnamon spice and vanilla on the palate, finishing long and warming.

Serving Suggestion: Sip neat or with a few drops of water; it also makes an excellent old fashioned.
